Bat Race 5K/10K

The 11th annual Bat Race 5K/10K was a SPOOKTACULAR success held on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Over 700 runners from all over Chicagoland laced up their running shoes to join in the spooky fun!

This event had something for everyone! Many chose to run the 10K, and others either ran or walked the 5K course. Our littles also had the chance to join in for the Kids’ Fun Run! Many thanks to so many Batavia High School organizations who pitched in to cheer on runners or our littles on the course!

Costumes are encouraged but not required and SO MANY decided to share their creativity and entered our costume contest to try to win a prize in various categories (Best Duo, Best Group, Best Adult Male, Best Adult Female, Best Child).

We had so much fun and we hope all our runners did too! We are thrilled that we were able to raise nearly $30,000 to support our community! Thanks to all of our sponsors, volunteers, and participants for helping make this possible! Save the date for next year’s event on the last Saturday in October!
